ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION
 
This property is located within the malaria free Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve, a short 30 min drive from Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. The property is designed around a central entertainment area raised on to a high platform ensuring unsurpassed views over the bush. The entertainment area offers a seating and viewing area, dining area for 10 and a fully equipped kitchen and built in braai. The fire pit next to the swimming pool and entertainment area allows for evenings spent under the stars around a crackling fire. And in the daytime guest can soak up the summer sun lounging next to the splash pool.
 
If game viewing is no longer an option the lounge also offers DSTV facilities. The property offers a choice of chalets: There are 4 tented deluxe chalets each with a private jacuzzi, one slightly larger tented executive chalet with a private jacuzzi, a beautiful 2 bedroom family unit with private heated splash pool and a solar powered Premier chalet with aluminum sliding doors and wood fired hot tub as well as a Superior Suite with wood fired hot tub and separate kitchen area. Each chalet is uniquely designed to cater for your privacy and to maximize the authentic bush experience for our visiting guests.
 
It is ideal for a romantic weekend getaway. As alternative the entire lodge can also be booked for groups as a sleeper couch and roll away beds are available on request. Ideal for family gatherings and / or corporate executive breakaways .Guests visiting the property have the optionality to view game in the comfort of their own vehicle through self-drive game viewing routes offered by the Dinokeng Game Reserve or to book a game drive which is conducted in an open safari game viewer vehicle. Notwithstanding the Big 5 roaming the area, the lodge and its surrounding area is a birders paradise, ideal for bird watching.
 
There is a mobile spa that can be arranged and come directly to your chalet to do the treatments in the comfort and privacy of your veranda overlooking the bush. The appointment can be made directly with the spa.

The Deluxe chalets were designed to offer a full bush experience with canvas blinds opening on a veranda and deck with a private jacuzzi.The kitchenette is fully equipped with snappy chef plate, small fridge and microwave as well as a private braai area.
