ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION
 
Located only two and a half hours from Johannesburg, nestled in the Steenkampsberg mountain range near Dullstroom, the property boasts the ideal offering for guests looking to have the most sought after Ernie Els signature golf course on their doorstep.
 
This magnificent, luxury home is perched on a hillside and boasts views of the valley and surrounding hills. Comprising 4 x King bedrooms (2 bedrooms with XL king beds, all en suite) and an overflow bedroom with a queen bed (en suite – surcharge applies), a fully equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, two fireplaces for the chilly Dullstroom-days, a dining area, an indoor wood/charcoal braai and an indoor pool (heated).

Bed linen and bath towels are provided, guests to bring their own swimming towels. This self-catering home includes homely comforts: Full DSTV, backup power (solar – almost entirely off the grid), air fryer, ice machine, complimentary welcoming coffee and tea.
 
You can play tennis at the holiday home, and the area is popular for fishing and hiking. The holiday home has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Verloren Vallei Nature Reserve is 35 km from the property, while Belfast State Forest is 40 km from the property. The nearest airport is Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, 193 km from the accommodation.
 
This is the perfect weekend retreat for outdoor enthusiasts, the focus is not only on the championship level golf course but also the wealth of leisure activities the estate offers, including hiking trails, fly fishing, mountain biking, picnicking, and bird watching to ensure the whole family is catered for in this rare and tranquil setting.
 
The view from the restaurant within the estate boasts some amazing, panoramic views of the Ernie Els Signature Golf Course, the ever green lawn in the foreground and the rolling Scottish Highland equivalent rolling hills in the distance.
 
The clubhouse is closed on a Monday, but will be open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday to Sunday.
 
Guests visiting Dullstroom for the weekend or that are staying on the estate are welcome to come to the restaurant for meals any time during operating hours, bookings are essential.
